Why We’re Doing This

For nearly seven years, Ivory & Main has been helping plus-size brides find their dream dresses in Sayville, NY. Our boutique has been more than just a store—it’s been a home for brides from all walks of life, a place of empowerment, and a beacon of body positivity.

In October 2024, our community was shaken when a devastating fire broke out just feet from our shop. Seeing the impact on our neighbors, Curinne immediately took action, raising over $3,000 through hosting a sample sale at Ivory & Main Curvy Bridal Boutique to support affected businesses.

This experience reinforced what we’ve always known: giving back is at the heart of everything we do. Now, as The Curvy Godmothers™, we’re taking our mission even further. We’ve helped brides navigate the ups and downs of wedding planning—now it’s time for action. If you know a bride whose special day has been put on hold due to unforeseen hardships, we want to help her say “yes” to the dress, with no strings attached.

2. Selection Process – We’ll carefully review all applications (only one application per Bride please) and reach out to the nominator for more details before contacting the selected bride. We will choose 2 Brides per month. The lucky bride will be invited to a private appointment where she can bring up to 7 of her closest family and friends to share in this unforgettable moment.

3. The Dress Appointment – The selected bride will enjoy a VIP style appointment at Ivory & Main, complete with a complimentary hair and makeup session at our location 90 minutes before her guests arrive, adding an extra touch of luxury to her experience. Once ready, The Curvy Godmothers, Curinne & Cassidy, will warmly welcome the bride and her guests into the boutique for an unforgettable shopping celebration After getting to know the bride’s style, personality, and dream wedding vision, Cassidy and Curinne will work their magic, hand-selecting six stunning gowns from Ivory & Main’s collection of sample dresses. Then, the real fun begins! With her personal cheer squad by her side, the bride will try on each of the gowns, soaking in the excitement as she steps in front of the mirror and sees herself as a bride. With the help of her guests and the expert guidance of the Curvy Godmothers, she’ll choose the gown that makes her heart skip a beat—the one that truly feels like the dress.

4. Take Home the Dress – Once she finds the one, it’s hers to keep—completely free! No waiting, no stress—the dress goes home with her that day! But the fairy tale doesn’t end there!

5. Alterations Included – Ivory & Main will also provide complimentary alterations, ensuring the dress fits her like a dream on her big day. a perfect fit is just as important as the dress itself, so we’re covering basic alterations at the Ivory & Main Atelier to ensure she’s aisle-ready!

This giveaway is all about celebrating love, confidence, and finding the perfect gown in a joyful, stress-free way. We can’t wait to make these deserving bride’s dream come true!

Who Can Be Nominated?
(Curvy Criteria)

To be eligible for this giveaway, the bride must:

Be nominated – No self-submissions.
Not have had a formal wedding ceremony (legal marriage is okay).
Be comfortable being on camera and having their appointment filmed.
